Wayome is a self confessed NDC financier who confessed not having any contract with government of Ghana and yet was able to use his party card to get the MILLS-MAHAMA led government to award him 58 million cedis so he could use part of it to finance the 2012 campaign of Attah Mills incompetent government

Jerry Rawlings. a populist and serial coup maker. A dictator for 19 years, he did his best to do what African dictators are best noted for: corruption, murder, assassination and abuse of power. Under his rule all former heads of State in Ghana were arrested and shot by firing squad. Eminent judges were also arrested and killed by him and his blood thirsty morons. Many Ghanaians disappeared without trace and those with bunsinesses were imprisoned and their assets confiscated.Though he claimed it was necessary to kill in order to clean Ghana of corruption he himself has been linked to a number of corruption scandals in the country.Rawlings is alleged to have received $5m from Sani Abacha. Prof. Wole Soyinka wants that money refunded to Nigeria. Rawlings had all 4 of his children tuition paid for by his 'friends'. He has been named in a bribery scandal in Norway in which he allegedly received US 1,690,000 dollars from the firm called Scancem. He says he cannot afford a lawyer to bring charges against the newspaper that revealed the scale of corruption that took place between him, members of his administration and Scancem. He bought armoured plated Land Cruisers and Jaguars for himself with stolen money but claims they were all bought for him by his 'friends'. He and his corrupt ministers supervised the sale of majority of the companies built by Dr.Nkrumah, but could not render any account for the sale of those national assets. His wife is believed to have taken $17m from the sale of one the companies and is yet to pay. Some of the Ministers who looted the nation with him have been convicted and others are under investigation.He lives in a compund of five houses in his Ridge residence and drives in a convoy. Meanwhile 70% of Ghanaians whom he claimed to have served deligently live on $2 a day but Rawlings calls his opulence lifestyle simple.He is alledged to have received $3.5m from the governor of Rivers State in Nigeria to finance the 2008 NDC campaign. He claims he has never stolen a peny from us.Besides all these he wants Atta Mills to achieve in one year what he failed to achieve in 19 years. In what appaers to confirm his reputation as one of the most corrupt leaders ever to have govern Ghana, Mr. Kwame Pianim a Ghanaian politician, economist and management consultant says “To me if you go to any country where there is corruption, the head of state is corrupt, if he is not corrupt it won’t happen…and fortunately for Ghana now, we have a president (Atta Mills) that at least I will put my hand in the fire for, that he will not steal from the people. I have seen him on two occasions give envelopes back and I didn’t see it happen under John the first or John the second but at least now we are progressing and we have a president who I think will not steal from the people. How is he going to make sure that the people below him will also not do that – that is the question.” The first John refers to Jerry John Rawlings while the second John refers to John Kuffour who succeeded Rawlings.

PV Obeng a one time adviser to Rawlings and described in many corruption documents as prime minister was named in the Scancem bribery trial in Norway as one of the main recipient of the money deposited in the Uni Bank in Luxembourg. He has been linked to PSC Tema Shipyard drydock corruption scandal.
George Sipa Yankey
Sipa Yankey a former convict (convicted for causing financial loss to the State), has been forced to resign as minister of Health. He is alledged to have accepted bribes from a British Company called Mabey and Johnson in exchange for bridge building contracts. He is one of those who milked the nation with Rawlings and was brought into government by Attah Mills to continue to do what he knows best: accepting bribes and failing to supervise companies he ought to supervise. He says he is innocent because the money he received was given to him by another member of the corruption cartel.
MUNTAKA MUBARAK
Muntaka Mubarak former minister of Youth and Sport. The first person forced to resign in disgrace under Atta Mills regime. Alhaji Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak,was severally accused for using public funds worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to purchase items such as diapers, oil and meat among others to feed his household. It was also alleged that the Minister travelled with his girl friend and slept in a luxurious hotel in La Cote d'Ivoire, when the local Black stars went to the grand finale of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament, and also allocated a VW Passat to his wife among other numerous allegations levelled against him by a former accountant of the Youth and Sports Ministry. The irony is that he is still remains a member of Parliament for his constituency and has the audacity to call himself 'Honourable Member of Parliament'. How can a person resign as a minister on charges of corruption and still sit in our august house of Parliament to make laws for us? No wonder corruption is tearing the nation apart.
