Muntaka was asked by President Mills to proceed on leave while his case is being investigated following the allegation that he had abused his office and engaged in fraudulent activities in the sports ministry, including taking GH¢10,000 from the Ministry’s fund to consult a spiritualist to boost the fortunes of the Black Stars, spending about GH¢20,000 government fund to buy mouth wash and pampers for his baby.
