According to Kofi Adams, Mr Woyome has been speaking too much on the issue to the extent that he sometimes contradict himself. The NDC financier has made several statements since news broke on a case he won against the state. But he has on numerous occasions mumbled and failed to make convincing arguments on why he sued the state, many have suggested. Speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo programme Tuesday, Mr Kofi Adams said Mr Woyome’s continuous debate on the issue only exposed him further for public scrutiny and urged him to hold his breath. However, the Rawlings spokesperson noted that it was unfair for anyone to label Mr Woyome as a ‘thief or criminal’ because he went through due process to get the judgement. He also urged the public to desist from what he said was the unfair criticism of the president, admitting: “Indeed the credibility, the level of respect of the President would be put to test on this matter.” Meanwhile, Mr Samuel Awuku of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), also contributing to the discussion, stated that the President's comments on the payment of the judgement debt to Mr Woyome exposed his weakness as a leader who was not in full charge of the affairs of the nation. |
